Terminal Adaptor . (TA) Equipment used to adapt {Integrated Services Digital Network} (ISDN) {Basic Rate Interface} (BRI) channels to existing terminal equipment standards such as {EIA-232} and {V.35}. terminal illness . {raster burn}
terminal junkie . (UK) A {wannabee} or early {larval stage} hacker who spends most of his or her time wandering the directory tree and writing {noddy} programs just to get a fix of computer time.
